Responsibilities:

• Develop interior, exterior, and wayfinding signage (and everything in between!) that adheres to the project’s style, theme and aesthetic
• Complete signage and wayfinding programs to assist with vehicular and pedestrian traffic, including marked floor/location plans.
• Collaborate with architects and interior designers as needed
• Design unique and informative signage
• Decide appropriate materials and finishes for all designs
• Use new or improved materials in design to enhance performance and solve design challenges
• Ensure compliance with accessibility and safety standards (ADA guidelines)
• Research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional design experience, with references
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and Corel Draw
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent time management
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Strong understanding of construction terminology and fabrication processes
• Attention to detail and high-quality design execution
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, or related field

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Design Development: Create innovative designs for signage that align with the overall theme and aesthetic of art displays or exhibitions. This involves sketching initial concepts, development of digital renderings, and selection materials, colors, and fonts that complement the artwork and the display environment.
• Prototyping and Testing: Development & testing of signage prototypes for readability, durability, and overall impact within an art display context.
• Lighting Design: Specialized knowledge in lighting design, particularly how lighting can be used to enhance the visibility, readability, and overall impact of signage.
• Material Innovation and Application: Use new or improved materials in the design and manufacturing processes to enhance signage performance and apply those innovative materials to solve design challenges
• Master’s Degree in Industrial Design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Cinema 4D, Corel Draw, Keyshot, and Adobe Illustrator
